Nick Foles Joins the Fun in Peyton Manning's Golf Win

Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods beat Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in a charity golf event Sunday for COVID-19 relief, and Bears quarterback Nick Foles was able to join in on the fun virtually

The Match II: Champions for Charity, a golf match pitting Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson against Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning, will be best known now for an incredible shot Tom Brady hit on the seventh hole.

Other than this, it will be known for chippy talk and the way Manning invoked the name of Bears quarterback Nick Foles as a way to try and throw Brady off his game.

It started at the practice range when Manning began poking fun at the Brady-Rob Gronkowski relationship, saying Gronk pretty much does whatever Brady says. Then as he was running at the mouth, Peyton dropped the big one.

"It's hard to get to him," Peyton said, while Brady was hitting practice shots, then thought about if maybe he had brought along brother Eli Manning as a caddy because Brady lost twice to Eli in the Super Bowl.

"If you bring Eli you could do that, if you bring Nick Foles maybe," Peyton said.

Brady quickly shot back: "That's a cheap shot."

Eli then got onto Twitter.

"Heard Peyton say he wants me to be his caddie. I would, but I can’t always carry the team. #FranksRedHotPartner #TweetSomeHeat."

Foles then got involved:

"Ill come caddy and you help you out against Tom," Foles tweeted. "Let's go!"

Of course, it was Foles and the Philly Special that helped take down Brady and the Patriots after the 2017 season in the Super Bowl.

The real fun came when Brady holed out on the par-5, 515-yard seventh hole. Until then he'd struggled and was so bad even Charles Barkley came out of the woodwork to criticize him. Barkley was helping with announcing for TBS and TNT.

You know you're playing poorly if Barkley criticizes your golf game.

Brady holed out from the fairway. He already was laying three so it was only for birdie and not eagle, but at that point he was happy to take anything positive.

"Chuck, take a suck on that, Chuck," Brady said.

"That's why you're the GOAT," Barkley said, laughing.

Then Brady went to get the ball from the cup and ripped his pants bending over.

Manning and Woods won the match by a shot, as Manning exhibited a much better game overall than Brady.

In all, $20 million was raised for COVID-19 relief.
