Green Bay Packers Releasing Former Pro Bowler Aaron Jones
CINCINNATI — The running back market continues to churn. Just three hours into the legal tampering period, the Packers have agreed to sign Josh Jacobs and are releasing former Pro Bowler Aaron Jones.
The 29-year-old was set to make $12 million this season. Instead, he's free and will be able to sign with a new team.
There are a ton of running backs on the free agent market and Jones is joining them.
Will the Bengals add a veteran? Jones is an unlikely target, but they could go after his former teammate A.J. Dillon, who is also a free agent.
