Bengals Announce Inactives Ahead of AFC North Showdown With Steelers

CINCINNATI — The Bengals will be shorthanded on Sunday against the Steelers.

Star wide receiver Tee Higgins and second-year cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt are officially inactive. Higgins is out for a third consecutive game with a hamstring injury. Taylor-Britt is dealing with a quad issue that he played through, but aggravated in Cincinnati's Week 11 loss to Baltimore.

The Bengals elevated quarterback AJ McCarron from the practice squad. He'll serve as Jake Browning's backup on Sunday.

Trey Hill, D'Ante Smith and Jay Tufele are also inactive.
