In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Bengals are on their bye week, but they already know that their next opponent will be shorthanded.
The 49ers won't have star receiver Deebo Samuel for their Week 8 matchup against the Bengals.
Kyle Shanahan told reporters that Samuel will miss Monday's game against the Vikings and San Francisco's matchup against Cincinnati with a hairline fracture in his shoulder.
The 27-year-old has 20 receptions for 302 yards and one touchdown this season. He also has 95 yards and one rushing score.
The Bengals play the 49ers on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 4:25 p.m. ET at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
49ers’ WR Deebo Samuel will miss games at Minnesota, then against the Bengals. The 49ers have a bye in Week 9 before Samuel is expected to have a chance to return in Week 10 game at Jacksonville. https://t.co/CJLBBf2wce
