Joe Burrow Cherishing Seattle Victory With Work To Do: 'Never Apologize For Winning'

The Bengals offense had less than 100 total yards on its final eight drives of the game on Sunday.

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow and the offense came crashing back to earth after a fast start on Sunday, but the defense did enough to secure a massive 17-13 win over Seattlevictory entering the bye week.

"Offensively really good in the first half," Burrow said. "We were horrible in the second half. So we just got to be able to put it put together a complete game."

The Bengals quarterback finished 24-of-35 passing for 185 yards, two touchdowns, and 1 interception.

"Like I said opportunities that we had we didn't capitalize on, but we got the win," Burrow said postgame. "It's a lot easier to fix things when you're 3-3 than if you had lost this one. So never gonna apologize for a win."

The Bengals now prepping for a gauntlet of San Francisco and Buffalo following the bye week.

"Got a grind ahead of us so we got to get better," Burrow said.
