Bills QB Josh Allen Reveals 'Weird Things' That Would 'Flare Up' His Elbow Injury

Despite suffering a concerning elbow injury to his throwing arm in Week 9, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn't miss a game. Still, he admitted the entire healing process made it difficult to do even the simplest of everyday things.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen proved that it was a Super Bowl-or-bust approach this past season when he toughed it out and didn't miss any games despite a mid-season UCL elbow injury on his throwing arm.

Unfortunately, this didn't result in that coveted Super Bowl for the Bills despite what felt like a season of destiny. Luckily, Allen won't need offseason surgery for a concerning injury that he now seems ready to move past.

Still, he admitted the entire healing process made it difficult to do even the simplest of everyday things.

"There was the occasional tweak here and there," Allen said on a recent episode of ESPN's Kyle Brandt's Basement. "If I opened a door wrong, there was some weird things that would kinda cause it to flare up."

Of course, this hardly made a difference in his availability on game day.

"But it didn't bother me on the field come game time," Allen said.

Considering the everyday tasks that caused Allen pain, it's almost a miracle that he was able to finish the season with the seventh-most passing yards (4,283) and tied for the second-most passing touchdowns (35) after suffering the injury in a 20-17 Week 9 loss to the New York Jets.

But despite all the worry that arose when the injury occurred, Bills fans can now breath easier knowing their star quarterback is getting better with each day.

"It feels fantastic," he said. "I couldn't tell you any complaints about it right now."
