Bills QB Josh Allen Close to Making Playoff History After Touchdown vs. Chiefs

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen keeps making plays with his legs and is close to breaking records while doing so.

He gave Buffalo a 10-3 lead with a five-yard rushing touchdown early in the second quarter of Sunday's AFC Divisional against the Kansas City Chiefs. Though it was a short run, the yardage was enough to catapult Allen closer to playoff history.

Per Bills PR, Allen moves into third place all-time with 517 postseason rushing yards.

"Josh Allen tallies his fourth career postseason rushing touchdown on the five yard carry," the team tweeted. "With 517 career postseason rushing yards, Allen has now moved into third-place all-time among QBs, trailing only #2 Russell Wilson (527) and #1 Steve Young (594)."

If the Bills advance to the Super Bowl, Allen could get a chance to break that record.

Allen's 17 rushing touchdowns this season (both regular and playoffs) is the second-most all-time by a quarterback. Eagles star Jalen Hurts set the record with 18 last season.

On the scoring drive, the Bills had 55 yards rushing thanks to strong efforts from running back James Cook and Ty Johnson.

If the Bills beat Kansas City, they'll advance to the AFC Championship at M&T Bank Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday.
