Bills QB Josh Allen Flexes on Steelers with 52-Yard Touchdown
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was already having his way in Monday's Wild Card playoff matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers after two early passing touchdowns.
But then he took things to another level, this time using his legs.
On 3rd and 7, Allen escaped the pocket and looked like he'd settle for picking up the first down. Instead, he bounced off of tacklers and ran down the sideline for a highlight-reel 52-yard rushing touchdown to extend Buffalo's lead to 21-0.
The 52-yard run mark the longest of Allen's career for both regular season and playoffs. It was also the second-longest rushing touchdown by a quarterback in a playoff game.
As a result, Allen received a ton of thrown snow from the fans in the stands and got some MVP chants as well.
Take a look:
The touchdown came after Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam picked off Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the end zone. Instead of cutting the deficit to seven, Pittsburgh found itself on the wrong end of a 14-point swing.
