The Buffalo Bills were very active on the third day of the 2023 NFL Draft, enough to make your head spin.

So we'll simplify things. Here's a look at the players selected by Brandon Beane and company on the final day of the 2023 NFL Draft, along with the future picks that were obtained.

No. 150 - Justin Shorter, WR, Florida

In parts of five collegiate seasons split between Penn State and Florida, Shorter had 110 receptions for 1,552 yards, which certainly aren't numbers that jump off the page.

What does jump off the page, however, are his measurables.

At 6-foot-5, 228 pounds, Shorter's last name feels inappropriate.

"Size for me is an asset," Shorter said in his meeting with the local media Saturday. "I’ve learned how to use my size to win on contested catches or to block."

What's even more notable is that he averaged 19.9 yards per catch for the Gators in 2022. Stefon Diggs, Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox and Gabriel Davis will be at the forefront of the passing attack for the Bills in 2023. But Shorter could be an interesting weapon for Josh Allen and company in 2023 and beyond.

No. 230 - Nick Broeker, OG, Ole Miss

Broeker is 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, and was Second-Team All-SEC in his final collegiate season at Ole Miss.

While Broeker doesn't appear to have the ceiling of second-round pick O'Cyrus Torrence, SI's Draft Bible suggests he could be a depth piece at the NFL level:

"A college tackle, Nick Broeker’s technique and above-average movement skills make him a potential spot-starter as a zone-scheme guard; that said, his underwhelming length and power profile are concerning.

No. 252 - Alex Austin, CB, Oregon State

Austin was productive enough in his final season at Oregon State -- 140 tackles, four interceptions and three fumble recoveries -- that he was an honorable mention All-Pac-12.

You can read his full scouting report on NFL Draft Bible, but here's a notable snippet:

"Austin excels in soft shoe press coverage thanks to his hip fluidity, speed and ability to mirror routes early in the play, but he struggles to carry receivers through sharp cuts."

Additional Picks Obtained

On top of the three picks the Bills made Sunday, they also added a pair of picks in the 2024 NFL Draft in trades that saw them move down.

- Houston Texans' sixth-round pick in 2024

- Los Angeles Rams' sixth-round pick in 2024
