With the 150th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills selected wide receiver Justin Shorter out of Florida. Shorter had 29 catches for 577 yards and two touchdowns for the Gators this past season.

You can read a full scouting report on the latest Bill on NFL Draft Bible, but here's a snippet:

"Shorter showed improvement from 2020 to 2021. He eliminated drops from his game and displayed better ball tracking, which previously caused several drops in Florida’s 2020 bowl game against Oklahoma. Shorter is an experienced special teams player, and he’ll need to maximize his impact on those reps to stick on an NFL roster. The New Jersey native displays quick footwork when facing press coverage, which often leads to him getting past the defensive back.

The Bills acquired the 137th overall pick in a trade that sent offensive guard Cody Ford to the Arizona Cardinals in August of 2022. They turned that selection into picks 150 and 215 in a trade with the Washington Commanders, who moved up to select former Clemson EDGE KJ Henry at the top of the fifth round.

Shorter will join a draft class in Buffalo that already includes tight end Dalton Kincaid, offensive guard O'Cyrus Torrence and linebacker Dorian Williams.

Buffalo has two remaining picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, the 205th and 215th overall selections.
