Vegas Lists Chiefs as Favorite to Acquire Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy

Jeudy could have multiple suitors around the league.

As of Oct. 25, six days before the NFL trade deadline, the Kansas City Chiefs are the betting favorite to acquire Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, according to Vegas bookmaker BetOnline.ag.

Behind Kansas City (+450), the field for Jeudy's services also includes Carolina (+600), Detroit (+625), San Francisco (+650), Buffalo (+650), Indianapolis (+675), New England (+700), Houston (+750), Tennessee (+850), and the New York Giants (+900).

While there's next-to-zero chance Jeudy is dealt within the division, the team reportedly has shopped the former first-round pick for the better part of the last year, and recently there was speculation that the Colts had engaged in "extensive discussions" toward a potential trade.

Those alleged negotiations have yet to materialize, and the Broncos since picked up their second win of the season — but the phone will continue to ring and they'll continue to answer.

"I do think Denver will undergo a more thorough retooling, with Payton captaining all of it," Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer predicted Wednesday. "Which is why the Broncos are going to listen to trade inquiries on Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Garett Bolles, Josey Jewell, Justin Simmons and even Patrick Surtain II over the next six days. The Broncos aren’t close, they need picks and it makes sense exploring getting more."

The 15th overall selection of the 2020 draft, Jeudy is in the midst of a frustrating campaign marred by virtual spats with franchise legends and on-field conflict with former NFL greats. Through seven games, he ranks second on the club in receptions (25) and receiving yards (286) but hasn't scored a touchdown since Dec. 11, 2022.

“Trade me or not trade me, it doesn’t matter," Jeudy told reporters earlier this month. "At the end of the day, I'm still gonna be me.”

If deadset on moving him, the Broncos could look to showcase Jeudy in Sunday's home tilt against ... the Kansas City Chiefs — the final such showcase until the Halloween deadline, after which things truly could get spooky.
