Broncos Issue Injury Report for Week 1 vs. Raiders

In this story:
The Denver Broncos released their first injury report in advance of Sunday's regular-season opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Per the team, three players — wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring), tight end Chris Manhertz (chest), and cornerback Riley Moss (abdomen) — were listed as limited participants Wednesday, while tight end Greg Dulcich did not practice due to a personal matter.
"Dulcich was excused with a family absence," head coach Sean Payton clarified.

Jeudy is now 14 days removed from sustaining a moderate hamstring injury that was expected to hold him out for several weeks. NFL Network's James Palmer reported "there's a chance" Jeudy will be active in Week 1, making a "quicker than expected" return.
If scratched, second-round rookie WR Marvin Mims would likely draw the start opposite Courtland Sutton. Payton confirmed that Mims will "have a role" as a receiver in addition to his return duties.
“He’s someone that I feel like once he got back in the swing of things and he’s healthy—we saw his progress in camp, out at practice, and we saw it even in the Rams game," Payton said. "He’s moving well."
Manhertz was mysteriously absent from preseason action, and the chest issue puts an end to the wonder. The eighth-year vet — a blocking specialist — is the TE3 behind Adam Trautman and Dulcich.
Moss underwent core muscle surgery at the onset of training camp. The third-round rookie avoided placement on the short-term injured reserve list, which would have cost him at least four games. Moss is the direct backup to starting CB Damarri Mathis.
The Broncos will issue an updated status report following Thursday's practice.
