Report: Broncos Work Out Former USFL P Brock Miller

In this story:
The Denver Broncos are bearing down on its special-teams unit following a less-than-stellar showing in Week 1.
On Wednesday, Denver welcomed former United States Football League punter Brock Miller to the Centura Health Training Center for a workout, according to James Larsen of USFLNewsroom.com.
Miller initially entered the NFL in 2014 as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Utah State. He's spent time with the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Giants but has yet to record a regular-season punt.
Buttressed between his big-league stints were tenures with the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons, for whom he averaged 42.1 yards across 23 punts, and the USFL's New Jersey Generals, where he played the last two years, cumulatively tallying 44.5 yards per punt, with longs of 85 and 78, respectively.
Lot of specialist movement going on around in the @NFL . I had 2 weeks on the Rams practice squad in weeks 17&18 of last season along with another successful @USFL season. I’m ready to be back in the mix!!!! pic.twitter.com/kTbkagNVqX

If signed, Miller — also capable of handling kicking duties — would push incumbent Broncos punter/special teams captain Riley Dixon, who totaled 80 yards on two boots in Sunday's loss to the Raiders. Miller is also a left-footed punter, which is noteworthy, considering that the opponent's punter this week is also a south-paw.
Miller wasn't the only player to earn a tryout this week. On Tuesday, Denver hosted wide receivers Kevin Austin, Jalen Camp, and Thyrick Pitts, and tight ends Noah Togiai and Jake Tonges.
