Broncos TE Greg Dulcich Designated to Return from Injured Reserve

In this story:
Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich was designated to return from injured reserve and hit the practice field Tuesday for the first time since Week 1.
Dulcich, who's battled a hamstring injury, was officially listed as a limited practice participant ahead of Thursday's road tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Broncos now have 21 days to activate him to the 53-man roster — a transaction that seemingly will be executed in the near future.
“He's out here moving around," head coach Sean Payton said. "He's still out here. Hopefully the sooner the better. He's been working his tail off and I know they're going through a bunch of stuff now [with] explosive drills and making sure there's not a setback. I don't want to guess relative to this week's game, but he's close.”
Dulcich went down in the opening half of Denver's Sept. 10 loss to the Raiders, re-injuring the same (right) hamstring that caused him to miss seven games as a rookie. He finished the contest with two catches for 22 yards.
Prior to the injury, the 2022 third-round pick had been relegated to a backup role behind veteran TE Adam Trautman, a Payton favorite whom the team acquired in April.
Among all Broncos pass-catchers, Trautman currently ranks fifth in targets (14) and sixth in receptions (9) and receiving yards (60). He's also tied for third in receiving touchdowns (1) after scoring his first of the season in Week 5.
