Broncos Starting LB Exits Dolphins Game, Ruled Out

In this story:
The Denver Broncos have been steamrolled all day by the Miami Dolphins. Without All-Pro safety Justin Simmons, the Broncos were always going to struggle to slow down the Dolphins' offense.
And then linebacker Josey Jewell went down in the first half with a groin injury. He has been ruled out from returning.
The Broncos are rolling with rookie third-rounder Drew Sanders to fill in for Jewell. It's a trial by fire facing the Dolphins in your first NFL regular-season action.
Hey, rookie. Welcome to the NFL.
The Broncos' defense has been a turnstile in Miami. On seven possessions, the Broncos have relinquished six touchdown drives and 434 yards.
Denver's only redeeming moment defensively was a big fourth-down stop in the second quarter. Alas, Russell Wilson and the offense were unable to capitalize.
As I write this, the Broncos are down 42-13 with about six minutes left in the third quarter. The Broncos staring down the barrel of an 0-3 start to the Sean Payton era.
