Cleveland Browns All Over the NFL Pro Bowl Skill Games

On Thursday the NFL announced the Pro-Bow Skill Games Competitions and the Browns will have players competing in a number of events throughout the weekend

The evolution of the Pro Bowl over the past five years has been much needed for an event that lost its luster. Now, the NFL is doing its best to showcase the incredible athletic abilities of these players across many different competitions, not just playing football.

In the 2024 Pro Bowl, the Cleveland Browns are very well represented.

A late scratch from Amari Cooper left Cleveland with a total of six participants. Myles GarrettJoel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, David Njoku, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Denzel Ward were all selected to the Pro Bowl and will compete throughout the weekend.

This year's Pro Bowl weekend will begin on Thursday, February 1st with our very own David Njoku getting the party started. Njoku will compete with Rams' rookie sensation Puka Nacua in the "Best Catch Challenge." In the pre-recorded competition, Njoku and Nacua pretaped different catches in several different landmarks throughout Orlando. Fans will vote on the best catches and the winner will secure three points for their conference.

The next Cleveland Brown we will see is Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah as he competes in the Closest to the Pin challenge. We have seen JOK get after opposing offenses and make their lives miserable but does he have what it takes with a golf club? We will find out when he competes on the links!

Leaving the golf course we will go to the High Stakes Challenge to watch our lockdown cornerback compete against his peers at trying to catch punts shot from a JUGS machine while holding a football in each hand. A tough task that the Warden will get to show off his hands.

You won't see another Cleveland Brown until Sunday, and the first guy we will recognize is Myles Garrett competiting in the Move the Chains challenge. In this event, Garrett and other offensive and defensive linemen will try to move 3,000 pounds of weights off of a wall and pull across a finish line. This challenge will show off the pure strength of these guys to try and secure three more points for their side.

Garrett will go from the challenge and join offensive guard Wyatt Teller in the Gridiron Gauntlet Presented By Snickers where these two will have a full-field relay race challenging many different skill sets for the big guys.

After those physically toling events, we will tune in to watch Njoku sit back and team up with Tyreek Hill in a Madden game against Nacua and Micha Parsons.

The last challenge before the flag football event will have Teller back in the mix in the Tug-Of-War presented by Toyota. The AFC team is all offensive and defensive linemen buttressed by kicker Justin Tucker. This event should certainly be one of the more entertaining.

All of these events get us ready for the flag football game between the AFC and NFC that will take place on Sunday Night. This is a fun weekend ahead that will showcase all of these athletes in a different light and Cleveland will be all over the events.
