Former Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Trevon Coley has agreed to sign onto the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Coley spent two seasons with the Browns after signing as an undrafted free agent, starting much of the 2018 season. He was one of the last moves the Browns made to get the roster ready for the Tennessee Titans, coming a day after the initial cut down day.

He's still young, only 25 years old and has some athletic traits that are worth while as a 3-tech defensive tackle. It doesn't appear that the Browns tried to get Coley onto their practice squad after agreeing to terms with Brandin Bryant, a defensive tackle the same age who has similar physical characteristics.

The practice squad is ten players, though only four of them can be players that have accrued two seasons in the NFL, which is the category Coley falls.

Coley doesn't play the same style as most of the defensive tackles the Baltimore Ravens have, so the conclusion some may jump to will be this is about intel on the Browns, whom the Ravens see week four. And on some level, it probably is, but Coley does still have talent and could be useful.

He hasn't distinguished himself in two years with the Browns, but he does have a ton of experience and was coming off a solid preseason.
