Official Thursday Injury Report Browns at Steelers

In this story:
The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers have issued the first official injury report for this week's contest scheduled for Monday night. The first thing that jumps out from the Browns side is the fact that three out of the five defensive tackles on the active 53-man roster did not practice.
We had known earlier in the day that defensive tackle Maurice Hurst would miss practice for a hamstring injury but did not know that both Siaki Ika and Shelby Harris would not practice either. In addition to those three, safety Juan Thornhill continues to miss practice in the second consecutive week from the calf injury that kept him out against Cincinnati.
Jed Wills who had X-rays taken after Sunday's game was limited in practice with a foot injury. The usual veteran group of Myles Garrett, Joel Bitonio, Amari Cooper and Anthony Walker got an extra day of rest.
On the Pittsburgh side, the team officially placed star defensive tackle Cam Heyward on injured reserve. Four others who were banged up during the team's 30-7 loss to the 49ers on Sunday were able to practice on a limited basis and is a good sign for them to be available on Monday night. One player to keep an eye on is starting offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor as he is in the concussion protocol and would need to be cleared.
The extent of the injuries to Harris and Ika are unknown at this time. With achilles being listed for Harris, I would tend to think it may be more of a minor thing. We would certainly know by now if it was ruptured or torn. We will work to bring you more information as it becomes available.
