How does that saying go? "Real recognize real"?

There's no question that LeBron James, arguably the greatest basketball player in the history of the NBA, and one of the biggest icons in all of professional sports, has earned his status as a celebrity athlete superstar.

LeBron is also a self-proclaimed football junkie. On Sundays, when he isn't doing his thing on the hardwood, he can usually be found kicking back, relaxing, and enjoying NFL football like the rest of us.

More specifically, this past Sunday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the middle of dominating the Jacksonville Jaguars en route to earning their fourth consecutive victory, it appears as though LeBron James was watching with a keen eye.

Not only that, but apparently he was particularly impressed by the performance of none other than the greatest offensive player in the history of the Buccaneers' franchise, Mike Evans.

So much so that he felt compelled to take to Twitter to share his appreciation for M1K3.

This isn't the first time LeBron has gone out of his way to praise the Bucs' star receiver. Earlier this month, when Evans surpassed 1,000 yards receiving for the 10th consecutive season, LeBron again took to social media to shower Mike Evans with praise, while also implying the Buccaneers need to lock him up long-term.

Everyone knows LeBron was an exceptional high school football player growing up in Akron, Ohio. But Mike Evans is a former Texas high school basketball standout himself, and he's long been a big fan of NBA basketball.

So although the two athletes have been busy dominating their respective sports over the years, it appears as though they've developed a strong mutual respect for each other along the way.

With 52.7 million followers on Twitter, it's great to see LeBron James using his platform to remind his followers just how great of a player Mike Evans is.

As the fans in Tampa Bay know all too well, it's sometimes an uphill battle for Tampa Bay Buccaneers players to receive the national recognition they deserve. But at least in small part thanks to LeBron James, that doesn't appear to be the case with Mike Evans.
