The NFL is the undisputed king of the sports world. Annual TV ratings across all major sports make that abundantly clear.

With an unquenchable thirst for league content from fans around the world, it's no surprise that after each regular season, the NFL offseason takes on a life of its own.

The offseason has become a spectacle, in and of itself, for a variety of reasons.

After free agency comes the NFL draft. And once fans have had the opportunity to dissect and discuss their team's updated rosters — before they know it — OTA's are in full swing, and the next season is just around the bend.

For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' franchise, this offseason has, and will continue to be, a transformative one. An inevitability for any team that is faced with the departure of its franchise quarterback. In Tampa Bay's case, that challenge is magnified by the financial restraints that have come full circle for the team, after (justifiably) opting to kick money down the line in order to preserve their window for Super Bowl contention.

After signing former first overall pick, Baker Mayfield, to come in and compete with the team's unproven third-year signal caller, Kyle Trask, all eyes at Bucs' training camp will undoubtedly be on the starting quarterback competition.

Prior to that, other offseason training activities will provide a chance for onlookers to observe how new offensive coordinator, Dave Canales, puts his imprint on the offense. How the rookies adjust to their new surroundings? Who is healthy, who is not? Who is making splash plays in practice, and who is at risk of being cut?

With plenty of changes still to come via the draft and free agency before then, we'll have to wait before we get to focus on those OTA storylines.

However, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offseason workout schedule has just been released, so at least we now know exactly when the first opportunities to see Buccaneers' players on the field will come.

Although there will be changes to the roster before most of these OTA sessions get going, it's nice to know that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offseason training activities are just around the corner.
