Tom Brady Continues His Business Ventures Joining Delta Airlines

Former Bucs' QB Tom Brady continues his ventures in the business world - teaming up with Delta Airlines.

The greatest quarterback to ever play the game, Tom Brady, announced his retirement from the NFL following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2022 season.

Following his retirement, it became a question of what Brady would do to fill his time between his retirement and his upcoming 10-year broadcasting deal with FOX set to start in 2024.

Brady is not only the greatest quarterback to ever play, but he is also one hell of a businessman.

Brady has already joined an NFL ownership, WNBA ownership, soccer team ownership, E1 electric boat racing, and BRADY brand amongst a slew of other ventures.

It may seem that Brady is in over his head with just the pure amount of things he is throwing himself into, but c'mon this is Tom Brady.

Brady is still collecting more ventures for himself and most recently will be teaming up with Delta Airlines as a "strategic advisor"

The partnership between Brady and Delta is unique in nature and will include elements that will focus on Delta's global employee base, customers, and other key stakeholders.

“Delta’s people are driven by their commitment to world-class performance, excellence and a desire to achieve best-in-class results,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. “Bringing a leader like Tom onto the Delta team furthers our mission to connect the world while accelerating our drive to continuously improve for our colleagues, customers and communities.”

Delta focused in on the fact that Brady brings a sense of winning and passion for people to be the best version of themselves which aligns with Delta's goal of connecting people to reach their greatest potential.

Brady's work will focus on the following areas:

  • Employees: Brady will partner with Delta to develop and advise on strategic training and teamwork tools for the airline’s more than 90,000 employees.
  • Customers: Leaning into Delta’s “Keep Climbing” ethos, Brady will support the company’s brand identity in select elements of Delta’s marketing and customer engagement.
  • Communities: Brady will support Delta’s work to positively impact communities where employees live and work, inspiring the next generation of Delta community leaders.

Brady has shown that he only aligns himself with those who have the same drive and goals as himself and is excited to partner with a company like Delta to help further enhance their successes moving forward.

“I am grateful to be joining the Delta family, a company I have loved and respected for years,” Brady said. “Growing up with a mother as a flight attendant, I have always admired the people that make seamless air transportation possible. Throughout my career, my teammates and I flew Delta countless times, spending hours traveling for some of the most important games of our lives, even celebrating Super Bowl wins on the plane. Those championship teams were built off of great leadership and a commitment to excellence, and Delta certainly shares those qualities. Now, alongside Ed and the Delta team, I look forward to playing my part to continue the company’s success.”

Brady's success on, and off, the field will be vital to the success that occurs within his business ventures. Up to this point, most of Brady's business opportunities have yielded much success - outside of the whole crypto thing - and there is no reason to believe that he won't be a major addition to the Delta Airlines team.
