CBS Sports Mock Draft Has Buccaneers Moving Up for SEC Quarterback

In this story:
There's no telling how the Buccaneers might approach this year's NFL draft.
For the first time in several years, Tampa Bay is expected to have a number of holes to fill on the roster by the time the draft kicks off in April.
Currently projected to be $55M over the salary cap, with an extensive list of free agents, the Buccaneers' front office will need to use the draft to address several needs.
One of those needs will be at the quarterback position.
There are some in the building who believe that Kyle Trask has what it takes to fill that role, but to operate under the assumption that he will be effective at the NFL level would be unwise. After all, he's been with the team for two full seasons, and during that time, he's been unable to surpass Blaine Gabbert on the depth chart to secure the role of backup quarterback.

So could the Buccaneers look to make a splash in the draft, and try to find their quarterback of the future that way? As early as this year? It's definitely a possibility. But it likely won't be feasible unless the team is willing to use significant draft capital in order to move up from their current position (19th overall).
A recent mock draft by CBS Sports and Ryan Wilson has the Buccaneers doing just that.
This particular mock draft has the Buccaneers trading with the Atlanta Falcons in order to move up to the 8th overall pick, where they select Kentucky QB, Will Levis.
"Tom Brady has re-retired and the Bucs currently have Kyle Trask under contract... and that's it. This would be a bold move, but if Tampa stays at No.19, four QB's will be off the board. Levis, who definitely looks the part, was plagued by injuries and poor play all fall. That said, NFL teams love how he projects to the next level, but he'll be a controversial talking point in the coming months."

The reality of whether or not Tampa's front office even believes Levis to be a strong prospect at the position remains unknown. As does the likelihood of them conducting a trade with a division rival in order to move up to select him.
Either way, I'm sure quite a few fans would approve of the Buccaneers packaging picks in order to move up in this year's draft to select their quarterback of the future.
