Mock Draft Experts Divided on Who Cardinals Will Pick

It's anybody's guess as to who the Arizona Cardinals will take - and where that pick will take place.

The Arizona Cardinals will soon be on the clock - and even as the hours begin to dwindle on their decision, nobody has a clue as to who (and where) the Cardinals will end up with/at when the night is all said and done.

The Cardinals could stick with the No. 3 pick or trade down. In either scenario, circumstances ahead of them will alter their board.

In another unpredictable draft season, it's anybody's guess as to how tonight will look for first-time general manager Monti Ossenfort.

Mock Draft Experts Divided on Who Cardinals Will Pick

Dane Brugler, The Athletic: Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech

"Everything should be on the table for Arizona, from an offensive lineman (Paris Johnson Jr.?) to trading back. Ask any average NFL fan if they can name one defensive lineman on the Cardinals depth chart, though, and witness their blank face. Wilson would be a nice starting point as the new regime builds the roster."

Mel Kiper, ESPN: (Trade down to No. 11) Lukas Van Ness, DL, Iowa

"Arizona is another team to watch for one of the tackles, but Van Ness would fill a big need. He could play all over the D-line here, and his positional flexibility is appealing. With the projected trade, the Cardinals now have an extra second-round pick, which would help them fill out their depleted roster."

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com: (Trade down to No. 12) Paris Johnson Jr., OL, Ohio State

"There’s a lot of buzz that the Cardinals could take Johnson at No. 3 overall if they stay put. They still get him at No. 12 in this scenario. He’s a plug-and-play starter for a team that gets some extra bites at the apple after trading down."

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, USA Today: Will Anderson Jr., EDGE, Alabama

"Much as Arizona might want to trade back and collect additional draft assets, it could be a tall order for the team to execute a deal to its liking while still on the clocking. Not a bad consolation prize, though, to end up with arguably the best player in the draft. Anderson Jr. should immediately invigorate a Cardinals pass rush that doesn't return any players who recorded more than four sacks last year."
