Four Expert Prop Bets for Cardinals vs Seahawks

The Arizona Cardinals host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 18 - here's some prop bets to take.

ARIZONA -- For one final time in the desert this season: The Arizona Cardinals play football.

Week 18 will feature the Seattle Seahawks coming to town with plenty to play for on both sides - Seattle needs a win and extra help to get into the postseason while the Cardinals look to build momentum heading into next season.

Here's four prop bets from betting experts across the web:

Pickswise: James Conner OVER 70.5 Rushing Yards

"At the beginning of the season, James Conner wasn’t getting the same amount of carries as he had in the previous year. I was surprised to see that since Kyler Murray was out, but weirdly enough, Conner has seen his touches go back to normal ever since Murray returned. In Arizona’s last 4 games, Conner is averaging 19.25 carries and 91 rushing yards per game.

"Although the Cardinals have nothing to play for, they could play spoiler for the Seahawks. Seattle is still trying to find a way into the playoffs and it starts with a win in Week 18. If Murray and Conner can keep the game competitive in the first half, there should be plenty of opportunities for Conner to run in the second half."

Action Network: Tyler Lockett ANYTIME TD Scorer

Gilles Gallant: "Rookie receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has really turned it on over the last five games with two touchdowns in that span and at least seven targets in three of them. His role in the slot has turned him into a huge threat in the passing game and has almost made WR2 Tyler Lockett expendable as a result.

"That being said, even though he scored vs the Cardinals earlier this season, Smith-Njigba has struggled more against zone coverage, which the Cardinals play at a top-five rate, whereas Lockett has performed much better against zone. With both Smith-Njigba and Lockett around +200 to score, I’d likely opt with the veteran just for this week. For what it's worth, Lockett has scored in the final week of the season in each of the last five years."

Sporting News: Kenneth Walker III OVER 55.5 Rushing Yards

Sloan Piva: "The Cardinals have earned the distinction of being the worst rushing defense in the NFL, allowing a league-high 1,917 rushing yards to running backs this season (119.8). Things have been really bad over Arizona’s past five games, though. During that stretch, Jonathan Gannon’s squad has surrendered 168.6 rushing yards per game.

"The Seahawks have an outside shot of making the playoffs if they win this week, so look for Walker to rough up this defense on Sunday. The second-year back has averaged 4.3 yards per carry over Seattle’s past three games, so he should be able to hit this target with 14-plus carries."

Covers.com: James Conner Longest Rush Over 16.5 yards

Jared Hochman: "He has broken off a 22+ yard run in three of his last four games, with the one failure being a long run of only 16 yards against a now-stout Bears run defense, and he's logged a run of at least 14 yards in nine of his last 11 outings.

"Conner, however, gets a boost from facing Seattle, which just allowed 202 rushing yards to the Steelers last week and has hemorrhaged a whopping 170 rushing yards per game (and 5.0 yards/carry) over its previous six contests.

"I like Conner to get 70+ yards, and if you want to sprinkle a quarter-unit on 100+ yards (in the +310 range) behind his quest for 1K narrative, I don't dislike it, but my preferred (and most risk-averse) play is for him to break off at least one more big run against this sieve of a defense."
