Cardinals Hosting Top NFL Draft WR Prospect

In this story:
PHOENIX -- The Arizona Cardinals are slated to begin their offseason team activities today, but preparation for the 2023 NFL Draft continues as we're merely weeks away from finding out which path the team opts for.
The Cardinals - who own the No. 3 pick - are contemplating trading down in favor of acquiring more draft ammo as their rebuild in the desert gets underway.
That could potentially be one spot to No. 4 or back to No. 11 (or further) putting them out of position of a player such as Will Anderson but also in play for other dynamic athletes.
The Cardinals are set to wave goodbye to DeAndre Hopkins soon, though it's unclear if they'll trade or release him at this point. Arizona just might be eyeing his replacement in the early stages of the draft.
TCU WR Quentin Johnston is reportedly visiting with the Cardinals today, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Johnston met with the Tennessee Titans yesterday and will also meet with the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons soon, too.
More visits:

-- #LSU DE BJ Ojulari is in NY for a Top 30 visit with the #Jets tomorrow. He's got the #Bucs, #Panthers, and #Texans after that.
-- #TCU WR Quentin Johnston is on a visit with the #Titans now, then he has the #AZCardinals tomorrow, #Vikings and then #Falcons.
Johnston was the No. 1 WR in a TCU offense that reached the national championship last season. In 30 career games for the Horned Frogs, he reeled in 115 receptions for 2,190 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Johnston (6-3, 208 lbs) was ranked by Pro Football Focus as one of the best after the catch receivers in the draft with 523 YAC, second in the class.
"One may come to the conclusion that Quentin Johnston is the top after-the-catch receiver in this class, as he finished in second place on both leaderboards. This is made all the more impressive by the fact that Johnston is 6-foot-3 and 208 pounds; after-the-catch receivers generally tend to measure in much smaller," said PFF.
Already possessing Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch and Rondale Moore, the Cardinals will eventually need some size to their receiving corps. Johnston checks that box while also presenting himself as an all-around playmaker.
Johnston projects as a first-round player but could potentially slide to late Day 1/early Day 2 territory. The Cardinals currently own picks 3 and 34.
