Former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has found a new home, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero. Kingsbury is heading back to the college ranks and joining Lincoln Riley's staff as a quarterbacks coach at USC.

It's been a relatively interesting offseason for Kingsbury since being fired by the Cardinals, as he notoriously spent time in Thailand before coming back to the country and interviewing for the open offensive coordinator spot in Houston.

Kingsbury heads back to the college ranks, where he coached at Texas Tech for six seasons before being fired. He initially took a job as USC's offensive coordinator before interviewing with the Cardinals and New York Jets soon after.

Now, he's set to work with projected top pick in Trojans QB Caleb Williams, who is eligible for the NFL Draft after next season. Kingsbury has a history with strong quarterback play, having been involved in the development of guys such as Case Keenum, Johnny Manziel, Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.

Kingsbury's time in the desert was filled with highs and lows. He pounded the table for Arizona to draft Murray with the No. 1 pick and ultimately led the Cardinals to a playoff appearance, though his 28-37-1 record in four seasons was simply not meeting owner Michael Bidwill's standards.
