How Cardinals Helped Make NFL History in Week 10

In this story:
ARIZONA -- Victory Monday's aren't exactly common around the Arizona Cardinals, though their 2-8 record still provides a jolt of hope for the future nonetheless.
It was an epic comeback from Kyler Murray and co. that was straight out of a movie script, as Murray's first game returning from a significant injury saw him overcome turnovers early on to engineer a game-winning drive that sent home the Atlanta Falcons with a 25-23 loss.
That helped establish a new league record.
From the NFL:
"Five teams – ARIZONA, CLEVELAND, DETROIT, HOUSTON and SEATTLE – converted a game-winning field goal with no time remaining in Week 10, the most game-winning scores with no time remaining in regulation in a single week in NFL history.
"With two games remaining in Week 10, nine of 12 games (75 percent) have been within one score (eight points) in the fourth quarter, with nine games having been decided by one score.
"This season, 69.6 percent of all games (103 of 148 games) have been within one score (eight points) in the fourth quarter through Week 10."
Matt Prater nailed a 23-yard attempt as time expired to give the Cardinals a win. He went 4-4 on field goal attempts.
After the game, Jonathan Gannon praised all three phases of Arizona's win:
"You look at the game, I think on all three phases, as always we can clean things up on all three phases, but all three phases did things, made enough plays in there to win the game. That was just what I told them. It was complimentary football. I thought we did some things situationally that were extremely smart. Our guys executed those. That's what it takes to beat a playoff-caliber team, so hats off to those guys. Obviously, (QB Kyler Murray) 1 coming back, he made plays with his legs and made plays with his arm. The last two-minute (drive) there, I know (where) the line to gain there for a field goal (was) and where we're comfortable. He said ‘I'm going to get it all the way down there’, and that's what he did. Obviously a jolt of energy and belief within our team. That's why he is who he is. I couldn't be happier for the guy. Onto Houston.”
The Cardinals will now pack their bags and hit the road for a Week 11 matchup with the Houston Texans.
