ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals now drop to 1-5 on the season after a rough 26-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6.

The game first started with Josh Dobbs and Arizona's offense taking the field. Without James Conner, it was Keaontay Ingram who took starting snaps out of the backfield.

The Cardinals gathered some momentum and nearly found an opening drive touchdown though Dobbs sold Marquise Brown just short on a go-route, leaving room for the corner to make a play on the ball and settling for a a 55-yard field goal.

AZ 3, LA 0

The two sides would exchange drives before Matthew Stafford marched the Rams on a lengthy drive before settling on a field goal to tie the game with 15 seconds left in the first quarter.

AZ 3, LA 3

The Rams forced a punt on the ensuing drive and were looking to potentially take the lead before a muffed kick saw the Cardinals recover at the LA 17-yard line.

However, Dobbs and co. gained just three yards on three plays to again trot Prater out, who knocked home a 32-yard field goal to push the Cardinals back in the lead.

AZ 6, LA 3

Facing a fourth-and-five at the LA 40 and looking for their first touchdown of the day, Dobbs again again missed Brown down the sideline for a potential touchdown, turning the ball over on downs.

Arizona - threatening to score again - came away with another three points after the Cardinals stalled out in the red zone.

AZ 9, LA 3

With under a minute left in the first half, the Rams finally found their first big play of the game on a 49-yard pass from Stafford to Cooper Kupp, which pushed LA in field goal position to (yes, again) hit a field goal to draw them back within three points as halftime approached.

AZ 9, LA 6

On the first drive of the second half, we finally found our first touchdown after Stafford connected with Kupp (who else, right?) on a 13-yard pass to give Los Angeles their first lead of the day.

LA 13, AZ 9

The Rams seemingly found their rhythm on the offensive side of the ball, again marching down the field on a lengthy drive before adding three more points from Brett Maher's foot to extend their lead.

LA 16, AZ 9

With Arizona driving deep in LA territory to begin the fourth quarter, Dobbs turned the ball over for the first time on the afternoon after missing Zach Ertz, placing the ball behind him.

Looking to put the game away, the Rams marched on 12-play, 88-yard drive that was capped by a Kyren Williams touchdown.

LA 23, AZ 9

On the ensuing drive, Dobbs was strip-sacked and Los Angeles recovered deep in Arizona territory. They were able to take off a few minutes of clock before Maher's field goal was good from 43 yards out to add another three points.

LA 26, AZ 9

Looking to flatter the score line, Dobbs found rookie Michael Wilson for just his second reception of the day to put Arizona in opposing territory. Despite a fresh set of downs, the Cardinals couldn't muster a first down on their next four plays and again turning the ball over downs.

That would be the last meaningful action of the game, as the clock would hit zero and cement the outcome.

The Cardinals will be on the road for Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks.
