Cardinals Could Compete in 2024 International Game

In this story:
ARIZONA -- There's a possibility the Arizona Cardinals could make their way out of the United States in 2024.
Earlier this week, the NFL announced the Philadelphia Eagles would host the NFL's first international game in Brazil to help begin the 2024 regular season on Friday of Week 1.
While the Cardinals aren't set to face Philadelphia in any capacity next season, Arizona still could play in two other international games as road opponents in the Minnesota Vikings (who play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England) and Carolina Panthers, who play at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany) are set to host abroad.

The Cardinals themselves traveled internationally as recently as 2022 where they played the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico. They also played there in 2005 and also in London back in 2017.
Should Arizona grab their passports next season, they're likely to be a much better team than 2023. With a healthy Kyler Murray, a full year of experience under the new regime's belt and plenty of cap space/draft capital, the Cardinals are all but set to improve on themselves moving forward.
"I think that Monti [Ossenfort] has done a fantastic job of the acquisition periods (from) this last year in 2023 and bringing in guys that we see fit to be Cardinals. Not to say you don’t make mistakes, but we hit on a lot of those guys," Jonathan Gannon said at his end-of-year press conference.
"That’s what we told the rookies too, today, because there’s going to be another group that’s injected into this team that now they kind of have to show the way. When a guy gets out of alignment, you’ve got to bring them back into alignment, but the rookie class I can’t say enough about those guys. Some guys that we brought in, not just at draft time but in September or December they hit the price of admission for those guys as team and then you. I think that when you do that and continually add those pieces and the coaches improve and the players improve, you’ve got a chance.”
