DeAndre Hopkins Says He Wants to Play for Bills

In this story:
Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins is set to play on a new team next season after the team put him up for trade in the days following the conclusion of the 2022 regular season.
The Cardinals simply aren't going to be in playoff contention as they look to rebuild, and Hopkins' $30.75 million cap hit for 2023 simply isn't justifiable. Hopkins himself also wants a fresh opportunity to pursue a championship, and thus a split was deemed best for both sides.
While Arizona continues to figure out the logistics of a trade (teams are reportedly not coming close to their alleged asking price of a second-round pick and something else of value), it appears it's only a question of when, not if, Hopkins is moved.
There's also curiosity as to where Hopkins will land. Various teams - for good reason - have been tied to the All-Pro wideout, as his presence will instantly upgrade any roster he's traded to.
Hopkins reportedly revealed he wants to play for the Buffalo Bills, as he reportedly told that to Von Miller.
"I talk to Hop all the time and it’s kind of like the same thing with OBJ," Miller said to reporters (h/t The Buffalo News).
"You just never know until you know. Hop said he wanted to be a Buffalo Bill and you never know until you get that DeAndre Hopkins signature on a contract. I’m not sure what the circumstances are or what’s going on with that but I would love to see DeAndre Hopkins be here and I would love to have his skill set on our offense with Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs and Dawson Knox and Gabe Davis. How could we lose with those guys?"
Hopkins is set to turn 31-years-old this year and has two years left on his deal. He and Stefon Diggs would create arguably the top WR tandem in the NFL, and could perhaps push the Bills over the hump to an appearance in the Super Bowl.
