INDIANAPOLIS -- The discourse surrounding Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been nauseating at times.

Murray successfully rebounded from a torn ACL and returned to play the second half of Arizona's season in 2023, and quite well, at that.

Especially considering Murray was operating with a brand new coaching staff, in a entirely new offensive system, without primary weapon DeAndre Hopkins and no preseason reps at his disposal.

The debate on Murray is still very much up for grabs, though some should look far past the final 4-13 record Arizona finished with.

The coaching staff and front office have been very vocal with their support of Murray moving into 2024, when his massive extension is set to kick in.

Some aren't sipping the Kool-Aid, though The Athletic's Diana Russini recently gave her two cents on Murray's support in the desert while also diving into what Arizona might do in the draft:

"I ran into Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon and was blown away by his support of Kyler Murray. It’s very clear Murray is their guy. It’s always enjoyable to hear a coach sound like he’s in love with his quarterback," she said.

"The Cardinals pick fourth in the draft, and some in the league believe they are open to trading back. Could we see four quarterbacks go with the top four picks? One general manager told me, 'Absolutely!'”

We covered that last part a little more below:

As for Murray, there's hope having a full offseason in offensive coordinator Drew Petzing's system with additional help coming to the offense will see him lead the Cardinals to much more promising endeavors ahead.

At least general manager Monti Ossenfort believes so.

"I think the way Kyler [Murray] came back at the end of the year gave us all a lot of confidence. The way the offense hit their stride both running the football and throwing the football and just getting Kyler's health back to a point where he could use his legs, use his arms, do the things we're accustomed to seeing," he told reporters at the Combine.

"I think as always we're going to evaluate every position that comes in the draft but knowing that Kyler's where he's at, and not only where he's at but getting better and seeing him work and progress the way he is, I think it's an exciting spot to be in."

Not everybody is completely sold on Murray, however. Kurt Warner had a few critiques for the former Heisman winner:
