NFL Insider Links QB to the Colts

In this story:
The Indianapolis Colts are preparing to select their quarterback of the future in the upcoming NFL Draft. There has been a lot of buzz as to who the Colts will take with there not being a “generational talent” for the 2023 quarterback class.
Good Morning Football's Peter Schrager believes nobody should overlook the possibility of a certain name being drafted by general manager Chris Ballard.
"I put my mock draft out on Tuesday, and the biggest feedback I've gotten from around the league is...don't sleep on Will Levis and the Colts."

"Will Levis could go fourth overall to the Colts," Schrager said. "Will Levis could have the greatest Thursday evening he could imagine. He could go fourth overall to the Colts, he could go second overall to the Texans. He could have an amazing draft experience where he just focused on being him, got to the draft, got selected in the top five, and he's going to be a quarterback Week 1 starting in the NFL ... I've heard 'Colts, Colts, Colts' the last few days."
In recent weeks, Will Levis has started to come up in unison with the Colts’ need at quarterback. New coach Shane Steichen wants to hit defenses where it hurts, with explosive plays vertically. Well, one of the strongest points in Levis’ game is his ability to throw the ball deep accurately.
Could it be getting missed that Steichen likes Levis as the possible quarterback?
As mentioned before, he can throw deep, he can run, and with underrated speed. Levis gets the ball out of the pocket quickly and he is obsessed with the game of football. Levis wants to improve consistently, fitting Steichen’s philosophies for the Colts.
The NFL Draft is only seven short days away. With extra steam getting put behind it, will the Colts take a high-upside quarterback from Kentucky? Levis has all of the tools of a winner in the league. We’ll see if that happens with the Colts, starting next Thursday.
