In this story:

Very few expected the Indianapolis Colts and Gardner Minshew to face the Ravens and leave Baltimore with a win. But that's exactly what head coach Shane Steichen's team did on Sunday.

The Colts improbably beat the Ravens 22-19 in overtime, and Steichen couldn't say enough about his team including quarterback Gardner Minshew.

"[He] showed me Gardner," said Steichen frankly after the game. "Just resiliency, and fighting and clawing and scratching, finding completions. Obviously, he hit the big one to [Michael Pittman, Jr.] on the double move in overtime. It got us set up there. It was huge, a great play by Pittman, too, in between two defenders, but just straight resiliency by Gardner."

Steichen was impressed with Pittman's catch in overtime to set up the Colts for the win.

"It was incredible," said Steichen of Pittman's catch. "I keep going back to resiliency. Just the way he went up and caught it in between two guys to make that play, it’s huge. We ran that play, and then we put the double move off of it. He slipped inside and went up, and it was his ball or nobody’s ball. He made the play."

Pittman finished the game with nine catches for 77 yards.

Running back Zack Moss may have been the unsung hero of the offense with 145 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.

"Obviously, he popped the big one there at the end where he cut it back to get us in [field goal] range," said Steichen. "Then he had one on our sideline where there were about two or three guys around him where it looked like a minus-yardage play, and then he slipped through those guys. Again, I just keep saying the word resiliency because that’s what all those guys had today. They just kept fighting, scratching and clawing."

"It’s unique," said Steichen of Moss's running style. "I think he’s got a low level of gravity just the way his body is set up. I mean, he finds those creases, and then he’s able to shed those tackles and make guys miss and break those tackles, just with his body type. He’s a heck of a player."

The 2-1 Indianapolis Colts have two-very winnable games at home coming up on the docket. They host the 1-1 LA Rams on Sunday and then the 1-2 Tennessee Titans on October 8th.

After two-consecutive away wins, Steichen may want to stay on the road while the streak continues. But with this team's "resiliency", he'll be happy to be in front of a friendly crowd with a lot of momentum.
