Callahan Remains Disappointed

Rightfully, Bill Callahan, as mild-mannered as he is, remained frustrated with his team on Monday after a humiliating home loss to the Jets.

Bill Callahan met with reporters on Monday here at Redskins Park after another demoralizing Sunday at FedExField.

After having a chance to watch the tape of Dwayne Haskins home debut, he was surprisingly candid with some of his observations.

Callahan also expressed frustration with not taking "things from the grass" (practice) to the games on Sunday as the Redskins did just about everything they could do wrong in a 34-17 loss that was much uglier than the final score.

He also insisted that Montae Nicholson starting yesterday was a result of him feeling physically good and the tragedy that occurred last week in his personal life did not really seem to be much of a factor.

Still it is unknown why the Redskins allowed him to play. They must feel confident he did nothing wrong. Sometimes they are right and sometimes they are woefully wrong on that front.

Callahan's greatest challenge moving forward? Keeping players tuned-in who may have already tuned him out.
