Watch: Ryan Kerrigan shuts down Cowboys drive with big sack

The question mark headed into the game was the defense with some key components finding their way on the inactive list. But have no fear, Ryan Kerrigan is here.
One defensive possession after the Montae Nicholson interception, Kerrigan penetrated the backfield and brought down Dak Prescott on a key third and five to force a punt. It was Kerrigan's first sack of the 2019-20 season.
Daron Payne making the key play on 3rd down. Having his way with the Cowboys LG so far. Should have had the sack himself, but Dak eludes him. Kerrigan chases it down from the back side. #Redskins get off the field pic.twitter.com/yRcYNkscnU

It would seem so far that the defensive line has picked up the slack for a depleted secondary, playing a big role so far in making Dak uncomfortable in the pocket.
