Week 5 Inactive List: Keenum sits as Haskins to backup McCoy

The Washington Redskins have announced their seven inactive players for the Week 5 tilt against the New England Patriots. While four players were ruled out on Friday, the biggest drama was over which quarterback would be named the official backup as Colt McCoy gets his first start of the 2019 season. Dwayne Haskins is part of the game-day roster as well.
Head coach Jay Gruden has decided to keep just two quarterbacks active and as a result, Case Keenum (foot) will be the fifth player left in street clothes. He joins tight ends Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis (concussion) as well as right guard Brandon Scherff (ankle) and linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons (hamstring).
Fillout out the rest of the inactives for Washington will be Ross Piershbacher, who were listed as questionable on the final injury report, and Aaron Colvin.
