CeeDee Lamb Predicts Michael Gallup to 'Unleash' at Cowboys Camp

Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup is feeling the best he has in months, and fellow receiver CeeDee Lamb can't wait to see MG13 be unleashed.

Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup had a tough season last year. After coming back from his ACL injury, the receiver struggled as he had career lows in several key categories.

Gallup admitted to being unsure of himself last season, but there was a reason for that. The mental demons often associated with a knee injury like Gallup's take a while to remove. But now, after more time removed from his injury, he feels "springy" and like his old self.

Fellow receiver CeeDee Lamb has noticed the difference in Gallup at OTA's and even hinted that the team has had to hold the receiver back.

"Right now, you got to keep him on the ground," Lamb said with a smile. "He wants to show everyone how springy he is; we know how MG is; he's very excited. I can't wait for camp for him to unleash and show everybody what he can actually do."

With Lamb now having Brandin Cooks in the receiving room alongside Gallup, the potential these three have is intriguing. Both Lamb and Cooks have shown their talents throughout their career, so to Gallup to a lesser extent (he's still a 1,000-yard receiver).

If Gallup can find some remnants of his form from 2019 that saw him notch 1,107 yards and six touchdowns, then the Dallas offense will have a genuine three-headed monster.

It is still early in the offseason, and with training camp just around the corner, but Gallup is confident he can be the receiver many know he can be going forward.

"I'm very confident I'll feel like that guy again," Gallup said. "Very confident. It just feels different. It's kind of in the air. I smile every time I walk in that facility."

With professional sports being 90 percent above the shoulders, it already feels like half of the battle is won for Gallup as he looks to re-take his place as a genuine contributor for the Cowboys offense.
