Cowboys Complete (Almost) ‘30 Visits’ List; Where’s Bijan?

We’ve now got 29 of the 30 names on the Cowboys Visits List  … and we’ve got some NFL Draft conclusions to draw …

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys “30 Visits” list is not an annual be-all/end-all indicator of what the team intends to do in the NFL Draft.

But in terms of reading tea leaves, it’s a good start.

We’ve now (we think) got the 30 names on the Cowboys Visits List … and we’ve got some NFL Draft conclusions to draw …

Three quick thoughts …

1 - The Cowboys don’t waste 30 Visits by trying to be “deceptive.” So if a later-round guy is on the list (Liberty’s Johnson, for instance), Dallas is serious about wanting to get to know him.

2 - The list establishes that the Cowboys believe they needn’t draft for “need.” The premium talent at receiver alone shows that.

3 - Dallas is intent on finding a running back in this draft. So where’s Bijan Robinson of Texas? Maybe the Cowboys believe they have enough intel there (they do have lots of it) or maybe … Bijan is a plan that Dallas doesn’t wish to telegraph.

Which would be just a little bit “deceptive.”
