Dallas Cowboys' Jerry Jones Meets & 'Recruits' Deion Sanders' Son 'Shedeur as 'Top Pick in NFL Draft'?

In this story:
ARLINGTON - Dallas Cowboys and NFL legend Deion Sanders showed up at AT&T Stadium on Thursday night to watch the Cowboys defeat the Seattle Seahawks in a nationally televised shootout, and of course, before kickoff, "Coach Prime'' was free to roam the grounds.
And when he did, it freed team owner Jerry Jones to gravitate toward him for some photo ops and for some "geein' and hawin','' as Jerry likes to put it.
Also present: Deion's son and one of the coach's best players at the University of Colorado, his quarterback, Shedeur Sanders.
And Jerry gravitated toward the kid, too ... armed with his usual football hyperbole.
Jones said to Shedeur (and to anybody else who would listen), "(You) could very easily could be the top pick in the draft."
We won't bother "playing scout'' at this early stage, but will certainly concede that Shedeur had some spectacularly impressive moments for Colorado this season, completing 69.3 percent of his passes for 3,230 yards with 27 touchdowns and three interceptions.
"Very easily could be the top pick in the draft."

There is this, though: While Shedeur obviously has the potential to be an NFL quarterback, the expectation is that he won't declare for the 2024 NFL Draft, opting rather to stay with Dad for another year at CU.
Deion to Dallas? 'Coach Prime' Answer Will Stun You
"They're going to come out (in the NFL Draft) at the same time - next year," Deion recently said of his sons (... is a defensive back for the Buffs.) "They're not trying to leave daddy this year!''
