Dallas Cowboys vs. Super Bowl-Champ Chiefs: What Defines a Dynasty?

In this story:
FRISCO - The season is over and the Kansas City Chiefs are NFL champions.
Some are using the word "dynasty" to describe Kansas City's run the last few years and one of them is Pete Prisco from CBS Sports.
The Chiefs themselves are low-keying that.
"I'm not going to say 'dynasty' yet, we're not done," Chiefs quarterback and two-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes said after the win over the Eagles.
And while it's difficult to argue against it, three Super Bowl appearances in five seasons, along with two wins, certainly makes its own argument.
That's where the Dallas Cowboys - who around here measure the concept of "dynasty'' as being "three Super Bowl wins in four years'' (circa the 1990's) would like to get back to.
Where does Prisco say the Cowboys ended in the final post-Super Bowl NFL power rankings?
6. Dallas Cowboys: 12-5
After the playoff loss to the 49ers, the pressure will amp up on Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy in 2023.
There's no question pressure is the key word for the Cowboys next season. While last year was a step forward, Dallas still failed to make an NFC Championship game since the 1995 season.
Two monkeys were removed from the franchise's back, however. Beating Tom Brady for the first time in their last available attempt, and winning a road playoff game for the first time since the 1992 season.
Next season needs to be another step in the right direction, and it's hard to believe unless the season ends with anything other than a conference championship berth, both Prescott and McCarthy will be on the proverbial hot seat.
