The Washington Commanders fended off what was going to be a miraculous comeback attempt by the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

After a 50-yard Hail Mary was tipped three times before landing into the hands of Broncos wide receiver, Denver failed its two-point conversion attempt to win 35-33 and move to 2-0.

Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson posted Washington's record on X with a yawning emoji afterward — implying the victory was easy and not the down-to-wire nail-biter it was — but Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons had a message for the Commanders.

"I'm coming," Parsons said in a post to his college teammate.

Parsons is fresh off helping the Cowboys also move to 2-0, scoring a 30-10 victory over the New York Jets Sunday, and he had his fingerprints — or should we say paw prints, since he considers himself a lion on the field — all over the win.

The two-time All-Pro recorded four tackles, introducing himself in a painful manner to Jets quarterback Zach Wilson. He ran a stunt, pulling a swim move on New York left tackle Duane Brown, twisting up the middle of the rush lane to bowl over Wilson.

He was Brown's worst nightmare yet again, winning a one-on-one to sack Wilson for the second time on the afternoon.

However, his most impressive play wasn't getting after the quarterback. No, he just happened to set the edge, shed Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah's block attempt, wraps up running back Dalvin Cook and forcefully takes the ball right out of his hands.

Parsons also knocked down a pass and hit Wilson four times, while getting pressure on countless others.

"I'm just hungry," Parsons said after the game. "It doesn't matter where I'm at, I'm coming. I don't care if I'm gassed out, my lungs hurt. It's mind over matter. Every time I'm out there, I seize every opportunity. I take this extremely to heart. This organization changed my life, so I'm trying to give everything I have back to the fans, back to Mr. (Jerry) Jones and all my teammates.

So with Parsons' heart, skill and determination, if he's coming for Dotson and the Commanders, Cowboys Nation surely sees it as wise that even his “frienemies” get off the tracks when the train's coming through.
