FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys are about ready to unveil their full 2023 season schedule, with rumors and leaks leading up to the official 7 p.m. Thursday night reveal show.

Rumors. Leaks. Oh, yeah, and why not the sharing of a cryptic tweet to further add to the teasing and hinting and guessing as to what’s to come on the 2023 schedule?

The Cowboys Twitter account on Wednesday night shared an emoji collection featuring two ice cream emojis with a plus sign and three glasses of whiskey.

Is the cryptic tweet an attempt to create a guessing game about who Dallas plays when in 2023? Or - maybe more likely - are the Cowboys using their social media account to tease about a celebrity or two who might be involved in a video release to coordinate with the big schedule news.

You will recall that the team did so with a DFW native and a Cowboys fan in the form of musical artist Post Malone, in which he and team owner Jerry Jones teamed up for a comedic look at things.

Oh, and last year it was ESPN's fake-hater Stephen A. Smith of “First Take” who got to play a starring role in the schedule release video.

The Cowboys this week are playing host here at The Star in Frisco to the Academy of Country Music Awards (with CowboysSI.com covering that event like a blanket with all-access videos and stories). It so happens that Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are the on-stage hosts of the event ...

Does Dolly Parton have something to do with ice cream cones? Does Garth Brooks have something to do with three shots of whiskey?

We will know soon enough as the Cowboys this year play the 17-game schedule with nine games on the road and eight games at home. As always, the Cowboys will play their divisional opponents (Giants, Commanders, Eagles) twice, once at home and once on the road. They’ll also host the Rams, Seahawks, Patriots, Jets and Lions at AT&T Stadium in 2023.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys’ road trips will have them going to see the Chargers, Cardinals, 49ers, Dolphins, Panthers and Bills. For info as it comes in on the Dallas schedule, click here for our live tracker.
