Odell Beckham Jr.: 'Mouton' or 'Box Wine'? Cowboys 'Best Fit,' Baldinger Says; New VIDEO

Odell Beckham is still a free agent and a Dallas Cowboys free agent target. But after a year removed from the football field, is he still a fit in Dallas?

Odell Beckham Jr. is showing off after working his way back from the ACL injury he suffered over a year ago in the Super Bowl and is still a free agent, along with drawn-out public interest from Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys.

There are issues regarding OBJ inside The Star, including a "debate'' or a "divide'' when it comes to the staff agreeing with Jones' positivity. There is also movement when it comes to other bidders, as it seems the Ravens and Chiefs might be in while the Giants might be out.

Said Beckham via Twitter, apparently regarding some of the so-far offers: "They wanna try Mouton (wine) but pay box wine price for it.''

And there is a new video from OBJ - presented by him as a sort of "movie trailer'' - that is very much a part of him stirring up what might become a bidding war for his services.

But atop all of it, as a potential signing looms for the 30-year-old wide receiver, the Cowboys are still believed to be the "best fit'' in the mind of the NFL Network's Brian Baldinger

"I still think Dallas makes the most sense," Baldinger said. "If you just look at their lineup right now, CeeDee Lamb had 107 catches; the next closest receiver was Noah Brown in the 40s. Dalton Schultz was the second-leading receiver with 57 [catches]. Like they can't all go to CeeDee. ..."

"He's got to go to a place with a proven winning quarterback. Like he can't just go to a place in a rebuild with a quarterback situation that is influx or a rookie. You look at him as successful with Eli Manning and Matt Stafford," Baldinger continued.

"So I think with Dak Prescott, Dallas, the limelight, all those things that Odell kind of covets, it could work."

Baldinger's point is clear: On paper, the Cowboys check all the boxes for Odell, and he checks the boxes for Dallas. With Schultz likely to sign elsewhere, the Cowboys will be without half of their top-four receivers statistically from a season ago.

And even with a breakout year from Brown (now with the Texans) and the emergence of Lamb as the true No. 1 in Dallas, it wasn't enough to see the Cowboys past the San Francisco 49ers and the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Beckham, fully healthy, fits the bill of a "playmaker with juice," but he has spent over a year trying to get back to full health. He is reportedly looking for $15-20 million APY starting a debate inside The Star as to whether he is worth not only financially but the risk of possible drama

Let the "drama'' ... continue.
