'Did I Stutter?' Deion Sanders 2-0 Shocker; Cowboys Ex 'Coach Prime' Wins Again

In this story:
Deion Sanders' powerful status as a Dallas Cowboys and NFL legend was established long ago. And at this moment? His status as a college head coach - and his willingness to openly challenge his doubters - is pretty powerful as well.
"I don't think I stumbled or stuttered when I told you, 'We comin'!" Sanders said after his University of Colorado team captured a 36-14 home victory at Nebraska, pushing what had been a bad Buffaloes team to 2-0 to start the season with first-year "Coach Prime.'' "We comin'!''
Colorado's "doubters'' may not be as many as Sanders suggests; his "us against the world'' approach has long been part of his approach to success at most everything he's ever done. But CU was a 21-point underdog in last week's opener at TCU, a national title game finalist a season ago.
And now the Buffs are 2-0 ... which doubles their win total from last year.

Sanders' son Shedeur was again stellar at QB, as he finished 31 of 42 for 393 yards and two touchdowns plus a rushing touchdown, likely pushing himself into Heisman Trophy candidacy.
"I'm so proud of our team - so resilient," Deion said. "We stunk it up in the first half, but in the second half we came back. We had a great talk at halftime and we just came back and used our resiliency.
"They played their butts off. There were just a couple of personnel things that we needed to fix. ... But overall, I'm so proud of our kids, I'm so proud of the school, I'm so proud of the alumni."

He can also be proud of the fans in Boulder, so inspired by this surprising start (well, surprising to everyone but Deion, maybe) that they stormed the field in victory.
