After the Zeke Talk, the guys dive into their review of the Cowboys cuts, starting with the practice squad. John mentions how impressed he is with the practice squad while Landon discusses how everyone gets much too worried about other teams poaching Dallas’ cuts. The guys then focus their discussion on the offense. The guys mention how interesting it was that Dallas kept 11 offensive lineman while offering the reasoning for it. The guys also talk about why the team only kept five receivers instead of six.
To finish the show, the guys moved their discussions to the defense. John details why Joe Jackson made himself impossible to cut while Landon discusses why the team kept Luke Gifford on the 53. The guys both discuss their surprise that the team kept five CBs and five safeties.
