Cowboys 'Best Coast' podcast: The so-far MVPs of training camp

FRISCO - In the latest episode of the “Best Coast Boys” podcast, hosts Landon McCool and Dallas Morning News contributor John Owning give their review of the entirety of Dallas Cowboys camp up to this point. Moreover, Landon will joined by a special guest in the last hour.

After the pleasantries, the guys dive into the players who have been trending up and down at each position. The guys start on the defensive side of the ball where they detail the standout players of camp. John and Landon also discuss whether Taco Charlton should be designated as trending up or down. The guys then move onto linebacker, where they find as easy consensus on MVP and the trending up players. At defensive back, Landon gives his standout safeties while John discusses the defensive backs who have caught his eye.
The guys then turned their attention to the offensive side of the ball. No one will be surprised at the consensus MVP of the QB position while both give a reason while fans should be higher on the player who is trending up. At running back, the guys both praise Tony Pollard’s play while detailing a couple running backs who have disappointed. After that, the guys move on to wide receiver where John has a surprise trending up candidate. At offensive line the guys detail a couple under-the-radar players who have impressed.
