Cowboys owner Jerry Jones: 'I was a goober' and the 'Pony Dancing' of Ezekiel Elliott and Robert Quinn

FRISCO - Jerry Jones on recently attended his high school reunion, and says,“One of the girls gave me a picture from when I was in about ninth grade. She could put her hand on the top of my head I was that short. I used to dance, had those blue jeans rolled up. I was a goober but I didn’t know it.”
"Goober'' Jones usually has some football fun during his 105.3 The Fan appearances, and Tuesday was no exception for the Dallas Cowboys owner - in part of course because a 3-0 record will do that to a fella.
This time around? A sampling of Jerry with my guys "Shan & RJ'':
*On Amari Cooper in the 31-6 win over Miami: “Boy, that Amari put on a clinic out there on route-running. Those routes were unbelievable.”
*On the challenge of the Sunday night game against the Saints: “Boy, they have so much team-wise to compete with ... Listen, from top to bottom, (GM) Mickey Loomis and of course (coach) Sean (Payton), they’re built for action and built to play and built to win football games. They’re thinking way ahead. They’re looking around corners, but that Teddy Bridgewater, everybody knows he’s a football player and he’s very capable, with people like Sean Payton tutoring him, of being all you want at quarterback. We’re going to have to have a lot going for us to get of there with a win.”
*On the sack dance of Robert Quinn and how it's related to Ezekiel Elliott: “Well, that’s one of the best I’ve seen, riding that pony. You know what’s fun is sometimes Zeke will do something like that. He’ll put a towel on or put some shorts on and head down through the middle of the dressing room kind of spanking himself as he emulates riding a horse. And that’s before a game, so you can see what an asset he is on and off the field for the Dallas Cowboys.”
That is an accurate portrayal of Zeke's locker-room behavior; I've witnessed it. And yes, as they say in the Cowboys press conference business, that's an ender.
