FRISCO - Just days after former Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore found a new home with the Los Angeles Chargers, former Cowboys quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier could be close to doing the same in Baltimore.

Per an ESPN report, Nussmeier has interviewed for the vacant offensive coordinator position with the drama-riddled Ravens.

The Ravens are also set for a second interview with Seahawks quarterback coach Dave Canale, while reportedly still interested in Bills receivers coach Chad Hall, and Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken, among others.

Nussmeier has served as the Cowboys quarterbacks coach for the past three seasons, and was relieved of his duties at the same time as Moore.

Nussmeier previously served as the tight ends coach for Dallas for two years and has coaching experience at the collegiate level running the offenses at Florida, Michigan, Alabama, Washington, and Fresno State.

The Ravens are in the middle of a dramatic and public contract negotiation with star quarterback and former league MVP Lamar Jackson. Jackson's rookie deal expires this offseason and the team and former Heisman winner have failed to reach an agreement on a new extension.

The situation is eerily similar to the Cowboys' negotiations with Dak Prescott before reaching a four-year, $160 million agreement two seasons ago. ... with one difference being that rumors about a Jackson trade (maybe to Atlanta) seem to have some legs.
