Cowboys NFL Schedule Release Plan: When's Aaron Rodgers Coming for Biggest TV Game Ever?

Rodgers. New York. And the Cowboys? An easy prediction: That will end up ranking as one of the largest TV audiences of all time.

FRISCO - Just to paint a picture about how things are about to change: The New York Jets haven't been featured in an NBC-televised (Sunday night) game in over a decade.

Meanwhile, the networks with NFL broadcast rights annually scramble and argue and negotiate and beg to have the Dallas Cowboys play on their channel.

Those two twains are about to meet.

With the 2023 NFL Draft now in the sporting world's rear-view mirror, when will the NFL again hog all of the attention? It looks like that will happen on May 11, as that is the date the league is planning on releasing its 2023 schedule.

A Monday meeting is scheduled to put the cogs in motion, and of course star players on new teams, headline-grabbing individuals of any sort, and "America's Team'' tops the NFL schedule-maker's to-do list right about now.

Aaron Rodgers being traded to the New York Jets changes things in a massive way. And just to pick one of many highlight outings: The Jets were already scheduled to play at AT&T Stadium this year ... and whichever network gets that game, and whenever that game is played?
