Cowboys Dak & Jarwin Share Message On Future

FRISCO - It’s been an odd social-media week for the Dallas Cowboys, but on Friday, Dak Prescott put a positive cap on the events with a look forward to a Cowboys future.

“That's the only way I see it,” the QB wrote in response to a question from rehab partner Blake Jarwin, the tight end who’d written, “Dak, wanna run it back in a few months?"

The Instagram post from the Cowboys tight end featured a photo of Jarwin and Prescott sharing a Cowboys on-field celebration that preceded 2020, when Jarwin’s injury cost him the entire season, while Prescott’s Week 5 ankle injury caused him to be lost for the rest of the year.

Cowboys fans on social media enjoyed the exchange; it’s received thousands and comments. And the rehabbing tandem’s teammates chipped in as well, with CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz commented on Jarwin's post.

And so, no, it does not appear as though Prescott plans to "run it back'' as a member of the Washington Football Team.

And no, the "hype video'' doesn't seem that problematic anymore ... especially as the Cowboys just produced another video that happens to feature their most important player, contract status notwithstanding.

Does this mean Prescott is on the verge of a long-term signed contract with Dallas? Of course not. But does it mean the silliness of “hype video” and “Dak likes Washington” controversy is behind us?

Mercifully, we hope so.
